Reporting Requirements for Competitive Grant Projects
All reporting is conducted online, and is submitted through the Risk Management Education Results Verification System – the same system utilized for pre-proposals and full proposal applications. A simple and straightforward format is provided, with sections of the application already available online for project managers to report to. The Final Report for each project is a public document, and will be accessible for viewing through the national Extension Risk Management Education Program website.
Grant awardees have a contractual requirement to submit three Progress Reports for their projects, which are due October 1, February 1 and May 1 of the project year. If desired, additional Progress Reports may be submitted at any time. If a project is allowed a six-month extension, an additional quarterly report must be filed by the following October 1.
Upon project completion, project managers must make a Final Report on the achievement of the risk management Results identified in the application. The Final Report is due 30 days following the end date of the grant.
"Promotional Materials", "Educational Materials", and "Evaluations and Reports" produced in conjunction with each project must also be submitted. This may be done at any time during the course of the project. Project managers should complete the appropriate sections in the Verification System, and then may either upload the material or provide a link to access it. Additional materials may be submitted following the completion of the project.
Final payment or up to 15 percent of project costs may be withheld until all reporting requirements are met.
The "Instructions" available for each reporting section provide excellent information, but if additional questions arise, please don’t hesitate to contact the Northeast Center Staff.
